A/Prof Anita Raspovic
Eating Disorders Victoria (EDV) (2021-2022)
Dr Anita Raspovic (BAppSPod Hons, GradCert HEd, PhD, PGDPsych, BPsuchS Hons, MClinPsych) is a registered psychologist and podiatrist and a Credentialled Eating Disorders Clinician (CEDC). Dr Raspovic has worked in a diverse range of roles across academia, research, clinical practice and education. Dr Raspovic was previously a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the InsideOut Institute for Eating Disorders, Eating Disorders Victoria (EDV) and the Centre for Excellence in Eating Disorders (CEED), under the Mainstream initiave. She is currently a Senior Lecturer and the Course Co-ordinator at La Trobe University, Podiatry. She also practices as a psychologist in private practice in Melbourne, with a focus on eatign disorders and body image, and has a long-standing academic affiliation with La Trobe University in allied health.
Dr Raspovic has published widely on diabetes-related foot complications and management, and more recently has published on the relationship between body image and health behaviours in both the postpartum period and in adult women. Dr Raspovic is an emerging researcher in the field of eating disorders and has a particular interest in the intersection between eating disorders and attachment trauma. Dr Raspovic has a keen interest in the inclusion of people with lived experience in the co-design and translation of research into policy and practice.
